11 and 12

While I didn't take a picture every single day, I did finally make a 2009 album and I love it. It has shown me how far I have come and seriously 2009 was one of the best years and hardest years of my life. I cannot believe so much happened.

For Christmas my parents gave me a gift certificate to a salon to get my hair straightened. I decided not to go through with it. I will still use the certificate for hiarcuts etc, but I finally am embracing my curls. I love them. B loves them. They are part of me. While I still use my curling iron to make them more defined, I don't like my hair stick straight anymore.

the little things in life

My "baby" brother called me last night. I say baby loosely...he turns 24 in a few days.

I miss him. He lives in the ATL and we don't see each other much. He is truly one of the best guys I know and one of my best friends.

I feel so lucky to have such a great brother!

8. Sunsets

Not on purpose - but yesterday number 8 was completed.

We took B's new car out to get dirty- he wanted to take it off roading and we did. Then we saw the sunset over Galveston. It was beautiful.

New car...

So B got a new car yesterday...well new to him but almost brand spankin new! He got a 2010 Xterra with the off road package. It is really pretty and I have to say - I love it. We have been looking for a car for him for the past month - and I say we because I've been to MANY test drives and such. It was a long long day but the results are awesome and I have to say - he seems really happy and that is priceless. :)

I went to Seattle for New Years. This picture is taken from a window in L's apartment. It is of the fireworks shooting off from the Space Needle. The party was a blast.
